Limousine Service in Chicago

Hiring a limousine service in Chicago? Here are five common myths that you may as well face right now rather than once you board your limo…

1.  They don’t always provide the drinks

It makes sense to think Limos = Champagne, but in truth, you generally have to provide the champagne yourself. If you are in a limo with all the fixings, then chances are somebody rented it for you, and then stocked it for you, or you hired a real top-notch luxury limo.

2.  Being rude to your driver is a bad idea

You always see in movies, people in limos will do something like roll the little window up on the limo driver, cutting him off mid-sentence. It’s funny in movies. In reality, it may well get you on their blacklist.

3.  “Limousine rides are all glamour, all the time”

Limos are basically just really, really, really nice taxi cabs. They still have to stop and get gas and drive through crummy neighborhoods. If you want a glamorous night for your limo ride, reserve a limo when you have somewhere glamorous to be.

4.  They are actually quite affordable

A basic, simple ride in a limousine can actually be quite inexpensive. We are not talking about a month’s salary, here, we are talking about a day’s wage at a decent job. Someone working for minimum wage could save up for a few days and take a limo ride. Again, they’re just fancy taxis.

5.  “Rich folks ride limos all the time!”

Actually, no matter who you are, you will probably be able to keep count of all the limo rides you take in your whole life. Celebrities may take them to their premieres, business people may use them to impress clients, but beyond that, these people drive cars in their daily lives like the rest of us. Almost nobody gets around in a limo as their main form of transportation.
